For two years, theCHIVE has been constructing a hideaway close to downtown Austin that is finally completed. When construction began, we knew it should reflect the personality of its owner (me) – lots of light, color, and more than a little irreverence sprinkled in. Gatsby South was born. (I didn’t nickname it ‘Gatsby South’, Mac did, and it stuck.) The mastermind behind the vibrant interior is Sarah Wittenbraker, one of the ballsiest interior designers in Austin, or anywhere else for that matter.
