For those unfamiliar with the term, this is how a “first look” between a bride and groom usually goes down. The groom will stand in front of something picturesque and romantic, like a gazebo or a beach or a bridge over a gentle stream. Then he turns around to see his bride in her wedding dress for the first time. He gives her the bouquet of hand-picked flowers he’s been holding and hugs her and kisses her and acts like he’s just seen the Aurora Borealis and an eclipse and a triple rainbow all at the same time. It’s all pretty cheesy and lame and I roll my eyes whenever I see one pop up on my Facebook timeline. That’s why I love how this bride decided to mix things up.
When the groom turns around, instead of seeing his bride standing elegantly with her white lace blowing in the wind, he sees a goofy inflatable T-Rex head staring back at him.
