Back in October of 2014, nine small Chive Chapters across the state of New York began planning a New Year’s Eve party to bring in 2015 in style. Damsels in ball gowns and gentlemen in classic tuxes. The goal was to bring together Chivers from all over the state, raise a glass, and support the Red Cross – and ended up raising over $2K at the end of the night. January 1st of 2015 marks the beginning of the roller coaster ride that has taken NY State Chive to the next level just two years later – to go Bona Fide.
