Dogs are the best people. Cat’s are alright I guess. I mean really anything is made better with a cute, friendly animal around. In fact, plenty of studies have been done on the subject that show just how dramatic of an effect pets can have on our lives. When you think about it, there really is no excuse not to rescue an animal as long as you have the time and means to take care of it. If not, just give it to Jen Holub from Chive Charities. I think that’s how she got her third duck… Anyway, pets: They make life infinitely more rewarding and they’re the best excuse for getting out of all the shit you don’t want to do. But don’t take my word for it, science agrees:
