It seems like some actors just nail every part they’ve ever had, like Sir Christopher Lee.
True story: In a past life, I work as a production assistant on film sets, and my very first gig was a Hilary Swank movie called “The Resident”, which also featured Sir Christopher Lee. To this day, he is one of the kindest and coolest people I have ever had the fortune of meeting, inside or outside of showbiz. I will never forget answering the phone with the standard, “Production, this is Adam,” to which he responded, in his booming, dulcet tone: “Hello, Adam, it’s Christopher Lee.” He was Dracula, starred in Lord of the Rings and Star Wars, sang on a heavy metal album, and, after serving as a spy in WWII, was the inspiration for none other than James Bond (he was Sir Ian Fleming’s cousin). A true legend.
