The cult in Midsommar wore “brightly colored, elaborately embroidered outfits from a supply of century-old linen fabric,” costume designer Andrea Flesch told Deadline.
“It should look like they [the cult] do their costumes themselves, and everybody has his own costume,” Flesch said. “That’s why it was also very important that all of the costumes looked different — some of them are better made, some of them less — to see the difference.”
