The Mortal Kombat movie trailer is out. Fatalities in tact, this film looks like a shot of adrenaline chased with a line of gore-cocaine. Yeah. I just made that term up.

Watching the trailer got me wondering, how did developers pull off such (at the time) gruesomely awesome graphics in 90’s Mortal Kombat games? The answer?
