It’s that time of year again. Millions of Americans will actually flock to the endangered species that is brick-and-mortar retail stores to spend more in the next month than the other 11 months of the year, combined. Or if you’re at all like me and will do anything within your power to avoid the holiday traffic, lines, and human stampedes (eff Black Friday, amirite?), you’re skipping out on the stress altogether and shopping exclusively online. Thanks, Amazon!
In all, this holiday season is projected to be the first time in history that US retail sales, both online and in-store, will top the $1 trillion mark. That’s an incredible number that I can’t even fathom. What I do understand, though, is the power of using microdonations to move mountains. It’s what theCHIVE community has been doing for over 10 years now!
