Every romantic relationship is defined it’s milestones. From the first time you meet, to the first time you ‘accidentally’ brush hands, to the first kisses, the “I love you’s,” and the huge fights. Each one is exceptionally important and but also insanely nerve wracking. Like, what if they don’t feel the same way, or you fuck it all up and do it all wrong? It can take a huge leap of faith taking things to the next level. Especially when it comes to sleepovers.
Sharing a bed, is probably one of the most intimate and awkward things you can do with someone. According to a survey conducted by Mattress Advisor, it takes some time, for a variety of embarrassing reasons. It’s one thing to control your behaviour, bodily sounds and whatnot while you’re awake, but when you’re asleep, it’s a fucking free-for-all of noises, movements and even smells.
Frankly, I’m always surprised that they’re still there when I wake up, on account of my ‘can o’ beans before bed’ addiction.
