Did you know in the the Brothers Grimm version of Cinderella, the evil stepsisters cut off parts of their feet to squeeze into the glass slipper? Golden slipper, actually. Their mom, the O.G. Wicked Stepmother, handed them a knife and casually suggested one lop off a toe and the other shave down her heel to make the shoe fit.
