I got a call a couple weeks ago from a Chiver named Chris Cook. Chris is a great guy and always brings bourbon when he visits. Anyway, the Saturday before the Kentucky Derby every year, Chris opens up his barn for one of the premiere Derby Pre-Parties. I hear it’s as breathtaking as it is irresponsible.
This year, Chris wanted to use the party to raise a bunch of money for CreatiVets, a cause near and dear to theCHIVE community, and so I got a phone call. And I’m fixin’ to pull the trigger on this but I wanted your opinion first?
