When I first heard about theCHIVE back in 2012, I had no clue what to expect. Some buddies at work told me about this site that was full of funny pictures and attractive women so I was totally on board. What kept me around throughout the years though wasn’t the posts of women or silly memes, but the good that the community does to help each other out. My first official meet-up was back in 2018 in San Diego and I can happily say it was one of the best weekends of my life. Seeing what this community does for each other has always been something of beauty.
As RAKit Week 2021 comes to a close, all of us here at HQ want to give a big “thank you” to everyone that has participated. You all are the good in the world that we could use so much more of. Throughout the week you have volunteered, helped our Military, Essential Workers, went a little crazy on Wildcard Wednesday, and even lent a helping paw to our furry little friends.
Yesterday, we called on you all to take care of our first responders and you definitely did not disappoint.
