Anaheim Ducks
The Walt Disney Co. was the original owner of the franchise and named the team the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, looking to cash in on the success of their movie The Mighty Ducks in 1992. In 2006 the team was sold and renamed the Anaheim Ducks.
