I’m not going to sugarcoat it, the way things have been in the world recently, it’s hard to “keep the faith” and hold out hope for better days. From the everlasting grind of the pandemic, to massive political/social unrest, and most recently with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, my heart has been weighing heavy as of late.
But last night while I was in my own cycle of sadness, with nonstop dark thoughts running in a loop through my head, I got a random text from my mom who just wanted to check in on me. It wasn’t much more than just some warmth and well-wishes exchanged, but it was just enough to shake me out of my funk. Thanks, Mom, you have always been a stabilizing force in good and bad times.
I hope images like these ones will have a little of the same effect on you guys if, like me, you are struggling to see the sunny side of life these days.
Stay strong. Do Keep the faith. And KCCO : )
