Last week, John wrote an article that blew up the internet. Titled ‘The Indifferent Internet, Tito’s Hustle, and Chive Heart,’ the piece deconstructed the current digital publishing climate and theCHIVE’s position in the industry. Everyone from John Cena to Phillip DeFranco put it out on their social channels ringing their support.
John outlined the state of publishing as a whole but the main point that resonated with everyone was the fact that we are, and always will be, a community first and website second. A pulse, not a pixel.
We’ve carved a place online where likeminded, terrific human beings can come together offline and make a difference in each other’s life – a rarity in an industry where snark, contempt and ridicule reign supreme. After John’s article, I thought it’d be a good idea to highlight what our community has been up to lately.
