Most of us believe that beauty is subjective. That is, we all like different things and often don’t agree on who the most attractive people are, or even what the most attractive features are. We all have quirks and things we don’t like, as well as features we adore, like freckles, button noses, and dimples. For that reason, and also probably to make money at some level, plastic surgeon Dr. Julian De Silva created a scientific formula known as “the golden ratio” to determine beauty “scientifically.” He didn’t invent the formula all on his own, however, it’s based upon an ancient Greek formula for beauty.
Im gonna use the above image of Amber Heard to demonstrate the ratio, because, well, she’s fucking gorgeous.
