As an 80’s kid, I was born into the TV generation. Yeah, there were TV’s, and couch potatoes, and even TV dinners before I came into this world, but I like to think my generation took that laziness and made it a lifestyle. Even better than being in the TV generation, however, is being in the video game generation. I cut my teeth on Super Mario on the NES, grew across systems from the Sega Genesis to the Dreamcast and I still give my PS4 heavy run to this day. It’s those three decades of gaming–not school, not my friends, not even Family Ties-esque TV shows—that taught me everything I need to know in this life. As Player 1, I now pass on this knowledge to you, Player 2. Enjoy the power-up!
