Man arrested after stabbing himself to get day off work (4 photos)

A Japanese businessman named Masaru Miura stabbed himself in the hip to get a day off work.
The 54-year-old told police that he was stabbed by an unknown assailant. But when the cops found holes in his story, he confessed that he was lying and had stabbed himself with a knife he found on the subway. He was then placed under arrest for interfering with police duties.
