Many of you will remember the original “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark” books. The stories were unsettling and created so much controversy in schools across the nation due to their terrifying artwork and content. If you are like me though, they enhanced your interest in Halloween and other urban legends around the world. Some urban legends that are out there even make the books look like a Dr. Seuss story. While these are typically just folklore, some have been inspired by true events.
