In 1952 Frosted Flakes were introduced to the breakfast scene and Tony the Tiger became one of the most famous mascots in the food industry. Tony was voiced by Thurl Ravenscroft for more than 50 years who also provided voiceovers for many Disneyland rides, including the Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean, and also sang “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” in the cartoon version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
