Meet Army Sergeant Brendan Marrocco. In Iraq, he was hit by an IED (make-shift bomb) and lost both legs and parts of both arms. At one of the top hospitals in the world, “John Hopkins”, he successfully received a rare double arm transplant.
At the time of his injury, he was the first service member from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to survive the loss of four limbs.
