A few weeks ago Channing Tatum had an idea. He wanted to throw a good ‘ol fashioned Chive Meetup at his bar, Saints and Sinners, to raise money for charity. Yep, we can do that.
So we grabbed all the Chivers from the office, Channing grabbed the cast and crew of his new film 22 Jump Street, and we invited a couple hundred Chivers to join us to raise a glass of the KCCO Black Lager and raise some needed funds the local food bank.
I’ve been working in Hollyweird for a long time and I can’t tell you how refreshing to find Channing and Jonah with their heads still solidly screwed on – just two very humble guys who had a day off from ‘work’ and wanted a beer. Channing knows more about theCHIVE than I do btw, he’s really one of us.
