Every year, the most charitable community out there descends upon Austin for a weekend of celebration, tears, laughs, and renewed friendships in what is widely known around here as the single best event of the year. But this year felt a bit different.
The weekend I’m referring to, of course, is the Chive Charities Annual Green Gala. It had been over two years since our incredible community from around the globe was able to gather and raise a glass. Thanks a lot, 2020.
So when we put tickets on sale for our 8th annual event, all 850 tickets sold out in record time. Flights were secured, hotels in Austin were booked, and there was a buzz leading up to the weekend like we’ve never seen before. So we knew we had to make the weekend bigger and better than ever.
Before I get into the incredible weekend, I want to shout out to all our amazing sponsors who step up to cover all event expenses. No donor dollars were harmed in the making of this weekend.
