So I have been a total cinephile my entire life. When I was 17, I knew the employees at my local Blockbuster so well that they used to let me take home any movie that was not a new release without charging me for it. This led to me watching many of the classics and re-watching movies from my childhood on a near nightly basis, only to realize that some are a lot darker than I originally remembered. Here are some childhood movies that people did not realize were messed up until they were adults.
