Last night prior to our big Hermosa Beach meetup for Heavenly Mountain Resort, a woman (who was unharmed) struck a transformer knocking out the power to Hermosa Pier, and it never came back on. But in true Chive fashion we made the best of a bad situation and took the party to Underground Pub and tee’d off till the wee hours of the morning.
We decided not to give up on this. Plane tickets have been rescheduled and hotel rooms extended. Mac is already 3 bloody’s deep.
We’re going to try to do this again today, Saturday the 9th but the power has not yet returned, we’re told it will be on shortly, but I cannot in good faith confirm this meetup is a go until the juice is back on. As soon is lightning hits the clock tower we will make an additional block of tickets available for tonight’s meetup at American Junkie. The likely start time would be 7pm. If you have tickets from last night, they are still valid. Sit tight and tune in to @ChiveNation for all the updates.
In the meantime Mac has wandered off and I hope somebody is keeping an eye on him.
