theCHIVE has always had deep roots with Chicago. In the early years, Leo chipped in on the site while working in the Windy City (hence the CHI part of theCHIVE). We’ve hosted multiple official meetups, rallied the troops for Chicago-based charities and one particular Chiver happens to be a big fan of the Chicago sports. To say that theCHIVE and Chicago are connected is an understatement.
The city is also home to one of the best Chive Chapters on the planet. Year in and year out, Chive on Chicago parties with a purpose, raising thousands for charity while also doing a ton of charity work in the process.
The chapter’s annual event, Chiverish, is always a destination meetup for Chive Nation. Chivers from around the country will flock to Chicago for a weekend of fundraising and booze. Team Chive Nation from the HQ has been going to Chiverish for a few years now.
