As we speak, Chivers are on their way to Zack’s house to to re-pave the driveway and sidewalks. The speed bumps between him and the world will be a smooth ride now.

Together with Chive Charities’ Green Ribbon Fund, STRATACACHE sponsored Zack’s $14,000 grant for a two-component conversion on his power wheelchair including a seat elevator and wider frame to support stability. The Chivers never do anything ‘functional at best’. Zack’s new wheelchair is ‘the best in the business.’

Not for nothin’ but Chris Riegel, the CEO at Stratacache, has committed over $150,000 to Chive Charities through their Corporate Responsibility Program. So somebody buy that guy a drink.

Zack is getting the help he needs (and deserves). Where will he go from here? Just like Melissa and Kenze, Zack will begin to get better. His everyday life will become easier and he will be free to use his many gifts to get ahead. That’s the way of things.
