If you’re like me, many of these older kids book series such as ‘The Hardy Boys,’ ‘Choose Your Own Adventure,’ or even ‘The Boxcar Children,’ will really bring those childhood memories flooding back to you. What you might not recall, however, is how ridiculous some of the book’s lead images actually were. Which is where the good people over at PaperbackParadise come in, who have taken real paperback books from our youth and altered their titles to more accurately match the associated cover photo.
Irreverent and odd as the updated titles are, you gotta admit they are on to something good.
