A Good Samaritan, named Joel Cervantes Macias, was passing through the Little Village area of Chicago when he saw the distressing sight of an elderly man struggling to push a popsicle cart. The man pushing his frail body to the limit was 89-year-old Fidencio Sanchez, who was desperately trying to raise the money to pay for excessive mounting bills after the recent loss of his daughter. To make matters worse, his wife had fallen ill and was unable to help, so Fidencio resorted to pushing/selling a cart full of paletas (popsicles) in order to make ends meet.
Seeing this sad sight is when Good-Guy Joel decided to step in on the elderly man’s behalf. He started a GoFundMe page with the goal of raising 3 grand to help the man out. The internet responded by giving…ALOT…
