theCHIVE means something different to everyone. For active duty servicemen it might mean a 15-minute escape from the reality faced each day to preserve our freedom. For others, it’s a laugh or two in between completing TPS reports. And yet for others, it’s a community through which life-long friendships have been made. Regardless of how you see theCHIVE, there are moments that come along every once in a while that galvanize this crazy community of misfits and help shape it into what it has become.
There was the time Chive Nation decided to send a little girl who lost her legs to Disney World. There was the time the Chivers granted a dying veteran his final wish by building a retreat for veterans struggling with PTSD. There was the time we funded a dream playground for a special group of children in Tulsa who mattered the most.
Imagine all of those amazing moments packed into one special night! Every year in November, Chive Charities hosts the Green Gala in Austin, TX.
