No one expects to go through a life-threatening accident while on vacation, but that was the scary reality for a beautiful girl from Norway making her way through South America. 21-year-old Maria With Hoen from Lillehammer decided to make her trip a little more adventurous and joined a biking excursion along Bolivia’s infamous Death Road.
Things were going well until suddenly Maria hit a rock and spun out of control. She was sent over the cliff’s edge, with a 100-meter (or 328 feet) drop beneath her.
