A high percentage of us dreamed of being an astronaut when we were kids… going to Infinity and beyond, floating through the Milky Way, eating space food (although I still don’t know why that always seemed so appetizing).
The funny thing is that none of us really knew anything about not only being an astronaut, but NASA as a whole. Even as an adult, we’re not really up to speed.
While we’ll probably never know the entire ins and outs of the institution that is NASA, here are a few tidbits to make you feel like you’re in the club.
