By the looks of it, Papa John’s is trying to capitalize on our appetites and lack of patience.
They are testing out a “Papa Priority” fee and for an extra $2.99 you can get your pizza delivered faster. There is no guaranteed time on how much faster your pizza will get to you, but it better be damn quick to be paying extra. The catch is each store is limited to five “Papa Priorities” a night. With no guaranteed delivery time span I don’t know if this service is even worth it, but hey you might disagree with me.
People love feeling like they are special, that’s what keeps the airline industry and Vegas alive so will it work with pizza too? What’s a few extra bucks to a drunk a guy who desperately needs his pizza at 2 am.
