Recently the students of Papdale Primary School in Kirkwall, Orkney, lost their two classroom goldfish. Instead of giving Bubbles and Freddy the routine toilet funeral, they wanted to give the noble fishes a Viking-style sendoff.
Freddy and Bubbles were a Christmas gift to the schools 3rd and 4th-grade classes. The two fish were lost the week the students were learning about Vikings. So what better way to honor them than a fiery sendoff?
