You know those motivational people that tell you that the only thing you have to fear, is fear yourself? Yeah. That’s bullshit. There’s a lot of things in the world to be scared of, and sometimes, we don’t even know why things make us anxious and fearful. They just do.
In fact, scientists have been researching fear ever since the early days of civilization, and have found that we have an instinctual sense to fear certain things. These fears aren’t taught, or necessarily learned, they are just a part of us.
We were born to be scared of the world around us. And that’s ok. SPOILER ALERT: It keeps us alive.
