When it comes to eating, the only real rule or etiquette I observe is the shovel method. This involves holding the plate or bowl in front of my mouth, tilting at the proper angle–this is paramount–and using a utensil to literally shovel the food into the vacuous black hole on my face. Fortunately, other cultures around the world observe more delicate and sensible rules while dining.
