Predictions on how the world is gonna end have been pretty much a common theme in the last few decades. Either it was the Cold War that was gonna get us, Y2K, 2012, global warming or some sort of contagion, there’s been no shortage of theories and ideas. While we’ve got doomsday groups and survivalists telling us that the end is nigh, you’d think that perhaps they might be onto something, right?
In actuality, probably not. This fear of the apocalypse isn’t anything new. In fact, it goes back millennia to the earliest days of civilization. They all had theories about how it was all going to end, but so far, we’re still here and they’re not.
