As a former haunted house employee, I can say that scaring the living shit out of people is a real special experience. Slinking sideways out of a bathtub and terrifying unsuspecting victims who paid to be there is a type of satisfaction that I’ve never felt before. Obviously, there’s those people who are too cool for school and aren’t scared at all. But sometimes, every now and then, you put the fear of God into a person. You can see it in their eyes and for that fleeting moment they legitimately think you’re going to murder them. Those are the people that make it all worth it.
