It’s funny how a single quote can throw damn near everything into chaos.
Take this for example. Recently, Variety published a LONG article about TV/film producer Norman Lear. It’s mostly a history of the man’s career while pondering his future, but buried inside the article was the fun fact that he was an executive producer on The Princess Bride. And along with that, a quote that set the internet on fire from Sony Pictures CEO Tony Vinicquerra:
“We have so many people coming to us saying, ‘We want to remake this show or that show,’” Vinciquerra says. “Very famous people whose names I won’t use, but they want to redo ‘The Princess Bride.’
