Yesterday, we broke down the critical response to Cats (short version: they were not terribly nice to the movie, and neither was I). But one thing in those responses (that I kind of forgot to write about) is that many critics seemed to spot incomplete visual effects shots.
Seriously, stuff like characters being un-rendered in the background, characters floating an inch off the ground like a buggy video game. I spotted some stuff like that, but I was so distracted by being the dead opposite of sober while watching it that I hardly noticed.
