While hosting the Golden Globes last night, Ricky Gervais delivered a scathing takedown of Hollywood celebrities and their hypocritical cries for cultural and political action — and he did it right to their stunned faces.
“So if you win an award tonight don’t use it as a platform to make a political speech. You’re in no position to lecture the public about anything. You know nothing about the real world. Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg. So accept your award and fuck off,” Gervais said.
The reactions of the celebrities in the crowd are priceless. They appeared none too pleased to have their asses handed to them on a night where they expected to have them kissed.
