Kids are clueless. My Aunt wanted to be a horse when she grew up, and she clung to this dream until the age of 12. That’s why being a kid is so fun. Ignorance is bliss and all that. That’s also why The Talk is one of the most uncomfortable — and in retrospect, hilarious — situations for both child and mentor. It’s so uncomfortable, my dad left most of it up to the public education system, adding only one bit of personal advice: “Alex, always think with your bigger head.”
