John Quinn, aka jadiant on Instagram, is a lot of things. He’s a bodybuilder, a motivational speaker, a med student, and an expert in cosplay. He’s also a burn victim survivor, though he calls himself a “burn thriver.”
At the age of four, he suffered burns on 95% of his body in an accident where the family dog kicked over a candle. He was barely pulled out of the flames then, and his prognosis for survival was unbelievably low. At that young age, he was placed in a coma to heal for six months and completed physical therapy afterwards. And since then, he’s had over 100 surgeries on his body.
