Every year we are bombarded with Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You.” It is unavoidable. Did you know though that the song was almost never recorded. Carey thought that she was too young for a Christmas album but her manger/husband encouraged her to do it anyways. The song was written in only 15 minutes and has been a Christmas staple ever since.
