Hey all Chive Nation and beyond, a quick update from theCHIVE HQ. As most of you know, there was a massive winter storm that hit Texas (where we are located) and the conditions are historically bad. And I mean, worse than I have ever seen in my life — BAD. To quickly paint a picture, the roads are pure ice/snow with no plows OR Salt to be found, ya know, because the “planning committee” never thought they had to plan for weather like this here in the lonestar state. ALSO, I, and half my team, have been without power for the past 2 days, and we still got no juice. I got lucky and am staying with my wife at the hotel she happens to work for. Seriously, lucky me!!
Having said that, the reason our collective post numbers are down right now is literally half my team is without power, freezing their asses off, just trying to stay alive, and again wait until Texas warms back up by about Thursday (fingers crossed). So please forgive the lack of content and understand this is a freak act of God situation here, and we will STILL have many goodies to view, but it will all be pared down as many on my team have no access to the internet (or heat/power/food/transportation, etc…).
