A thing some folks find surprising about me, especially because I’m a film geek, is what my second favorite film of all time is.
It’s Stop Making Sense, the Talking Heads concert film from 1984. However, the reason I feel that way is that I’ve seen it in theaters, and the experience of seeing that particular film in a theater genuinely changed my life (it was October 11th, 2018, the Alamo Drafthouse Ritz in downtown Austin).
I truly believe everyone should see it that way at least once, regardless of if they like it or not. For me, that’s a life-changing experience. For you… Who knows, but maybe these prompts can get you thinking (and maybe you’ve already accomplished many of these):
