Bob Ross requires no introduction.

And that applies across multiple generations too, even if you weren’t alive for the original run of The Joy of Painting from 1983 to 1994. Ross’s calm demeanor, joyful presence, and love of creating art have resonated well beyond his original PBS run, with old episodes of his show having a total of 450 million views on YouTube.

With all of that notoriety, you might be shocked to learn that there are almost no opportunities to buy his original work, despite the fact that Ross painted over 30,000 paintings in his career.
