The newest trend on Twitter combines texting, emojis, and wit — three of my favorite things.
Clever wordsmiths use the emoji as a springboard to make a joke. Not only does this result in some hilarious tweets, but it also highlights often underutilized emojis.
According to an article from Mashable, “the phrase ‘when I text you’ has been tweeted over 200,000 times in the past week.”
