If you haven’t read the story yet, here you go!
The unknown:
Four days ago, Saturday, Brian Mercedes and I were leaving Audrina Peterson’s house. At that point I had a fairly good idea what I wanted to do. But the last thing you want to do is inspire false hope in a deserving family. Set the bar low. I told them my intentions were to try to raise $25,000. The entire remodel would cost north of $100K. But $25,000 would be enough money to at least remodel the bathroom to allow for roll-in shower, roll-up sink vanity, and custom storage space.
Todd told me, “If we can just get her a roll-in shower that would make all the difference.”
That’s right, the Peterson family basically thought they were getting a bigger bathtub. But Brian and I knew better. I would ask theCHIVERS to get us ‘halfway home,’ so to speak. I suspected that theCHIVE community would have other ideas. That maybe, they’d want to rebuild the entire house. But that’s not my choice to make…
