When it comes to any of the amazing films by Guillermo Del Toro, it’s plain to see that they’re filled with such attention to detail and wonder. He really puts his entire imagination to work, and all of the bits and pieces of the films that he’s watched in his lifetime, all come out in the movies he creates. It’s no secret that he’s a huge movie fan and he’s notorious for taking every opportunity he gets to curate a short film festival here, or put together a little retrospective of gothic horror there.
